Dental Care Tips for This Coming Fall

Posted on Aug 22 2022

The fall season is here. Leaves are falling, the air is getting cooler and crisp, and it's time to welcome in the holidays. What this also means is that it's time to be extra mindful of taking care of our teeth! The cooler weather can take a toll on your oral health, so here are some tips on how you can prevent tooth problems before they start during the fall season.

Brush your teeth often: Brushing twice a day and flossing once a day will help keep your teeth and gums healthy. Make sure you replace your toothbrush every three to four months so you're brushing with an ultra-fresh toothbrush! Don't forget to use fluoride toothpaste as well as mouthwash (especially if you're drinking wine or alcohol).

Go see the dentist: If you haven't been to the dentist in awhile, now is the perfect time to schedule an appointment.

Here at Everett Dental Clinic, we believe in "Show, not tell." Here is what our patient Cheryce Mattison has to say about her experience with us.

"Great friendly service, got everything I needed done in one appointment. They actually cleaned my teeth and gum line, which for some reason I've had a hard time getting Sea Mar to get around to doing. Perfect place to go if you don't feel like wasting your time with other dentists that require multiple appointments for basic care."
